Levels Raceway, Timaru Saturday 25 February, 2012 With MNZ coach Brian Bernard Improve your road riding skills by spending a day with coach Brian Bernard. Brian has raced and ridden extensively in NZ and the USA and is a qualified Motorcycling NZ Coach for both Road and Race. The day is all about you and your bike – improve your cornering skills, learn correct braking techniques, learn how to set up your suspension, gain confidence for your next trip on the road. Of particular value to riders returning to motorcycling after many years away, but whether you have been riding for 30 years or three months, you will learn something! Suitable for all types and sizes of road bikes. Entries - $100 (includes lunch) Limited to the first 25 riders. Entries by 18 February please Time - Riders need to be at the track by 8am and the day finishes at 4.00pm. Riders should stay in or close to Timaru Friday night so they arrive fresh and early for what is a pretty full days riding. Accommodation - If you require overnight accommodation for Friday evening, we will be staying at the Glenpark Holiday Park on the south side of Timaru. You can either book your own requirements direct at www.timarumotorcamp.co.nz or indicate on the booking form attached that you wish to be part of our group booking and we’ll do the arrangements. We will be working on having share cabins at a cost of $35. Please make bookings early. Safety Clothing – Normal road riding gear required for Road Rider Training – Helmet, gloves, jacket, trousers and boots - please no jeans or sneakers. IMPORTANT NOTE – This day is for Road Rider Training and all motorcycles need to have a current WOF and registration. Due to the strict Resource Consent rules that Levels Raceway works under, no racebikes are permitted on the track on ‘Training Days’. Overly loud exhausts not permitted. No exceptions! After gauging interest it is obvious this day has to go ahead. Attached is a copy of the information in regards to the track day. If you are keen just drop in the bottom form with your payment to us in the shop or if you prefer a bank deposit and email for that is fine, give us an email and we will send you our details.
